AI Readiness Audit.

Know where you stand before you choose tools.

Fixed scope. On-site or remote. Management readout.

What It Is

An independent audit of what AI can realistically do for your organisation. We assess readiness across organisation, workflows, data and governance, rank use cases by effort versus value, and give management a clear, vendor-neutral view before any tool decision.

When It Fits

AI is on the agenda but nobody can say how ready you actually are

Vendor conversations are running ahead of the business case

Pilots exist but nothing has changed in how the business operates

You want an independent view before committing budget

The Process

How It Works

1

Step 1 - Assess.

Structured interviews and a review of workflows, data and governance. Where value is realistic, and where it is noise.

2

Step 2 - Prioritise.

Use cases ranked by effort versus value. Two or three worth doing now usually beat a portfolio of twenty.

3

Step 3 - The readout.

A management readout with the readiness map, the prioritised use cases and a grounded first step.

What You Walk Away With

  • A readiness map across organisation, data and governance
  • A use-case view ranked by effort versus value
  • A management readout your leadership can act on
  • A grounded first step, independent of any vendor

What It Is Not

Not a generic AI strategy deck and not a tool recommendation in disguise. We remain vendor-neutral and commercially independent of any platform or implementation outcome.

What the audit weighs

Four dimensions, weighted for your business.

Where AI actually pays off

Your processes ranked by cost of errors and hours spent, not by hype. The output is a priority list you can defend in front of your own leadership.

Architecture and running costs

API, self-hosted or local models, weighed per workload by data sensitivity and cost per case. Sometimes the cheaper and safer answer is a model that runs on your side.

EU AI Act exposure

Which of your current and planned use cases carry obligations, on which timeline, and who in your organisation owns them. Early clarity here is cheaper than any retrofit.

KPIs that fit your business

Hours, error rates, cycle time, margin. We set the baseline first, so the value of AI is measured instead of claimed. The metric above them all is competitive position.

Practical questions

Do we need technical staff for the audit?

No. We interview leadership, operations and IT where relevant. The audit reads your organisation, workflows, data and governance, not your source code.

Will you recommend specific tools?

Only criteria and use cases. We are vendor-neutral and not commercially tied to a recommended platform, tool or implementation outcome.

What if the audit shows we are not ready?

Then you have saved a year of expensive learning. The readout shows what to fix first and what to leave alone.

How long does the audit take?

Typically two to three weeks from kickoff to management readout, depending on interview availability.

Is our data shared with any third party?

No. The audit runs under confidentiality, and we are not commercially tied to any vendor or platform.

What is the next step after the readout?

You own the readiness map and the prioritised use cases. If the first step needs support, a workshop or the AI Decision Partner can follow. Neither is required.

Ready to take the next step?

The simplest next step: a short, open conversation.

Ready to take

the next step?

A short conversation is enough to find out whether we can help. No pitch, no commitment, just clarity on fit.
